Join a leading accountancy firm and advance your career as an Accounting & Financial Reporting Assistant! We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused professional to join our Consulting team.
About the Role:
Our Consulting team provides a range of financial and business support solutions, helping clients navigate complex challenges and achieve strategic goals. As an Accounting & Financial Reporting Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting clients with financial reporting, VAT returns, and management accounts preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts under supervision, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
- Maintain well-documented files with sufficient evidence for review.
- Provide excellent client service, ensuring high-quality work at all times.
- Identify inaccuracies in client work and take action to correct them.
- Meet deadlines and proactively seek advice when needed.
What We're Looking For:
- AAT Level 3 or above or ACCA part-qualified.
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C), including a B in Maths and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
