A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. This is a 6-month (ongoing) FTC position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. Paying between 28,000 - 30,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Key Credit Control Function ensuring prompt payment within terms
Reconciliations of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
Liaising with suppliers and customers to resolve queries.
Allocating bank payments and receipts with no invoices.
Bank reconciliations
Assist in preparing Management Accounts
Support and mentoring apprentice accounts staff
Responding to emails / phone calls.
Assisting with other accounting duties as required.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Assistant Management Accountant position:

AAT accountancy qualified or higher but QBE will be considered
Working knowledge of Netsuite desirable but not essential
Strong Excel skills
Proven track record in Management Accounts and Credit Control
Excellent attention to detail
Highly numerate
Excellent communication skills
