Planner / Scheduler

We are looking for a Planner to undertake effective planning work, coordination of teams, administrative duties and financial and statistical functions in support of all Operations teams providing excellent planned maintenance, responsive repairs, empty homes, compliance and grounds services.

What you'll be doing

  • Co-ordinate resources across all trades teams, including contractors, to ensure that the right number of people with the right skills are in place to achieve business objectives.

  • Effectively schedule all works, projects and inspections and organise materials, logistics, equipment and waste clearance to maximise the efficient use of resources, improve productivity and provide an excellent service to customers.

  • Act as an ambassador to live CHP’s values, taking appropriate action to ensure that customers are well informed and feel safe in their homes, by collecting property data, checking customer details and providing appropriate customer advice and support.

  • Undertake administrative, financial and analytical activities to support the general operation of the Operations team where required.

  • Take responsibility, in conjunction with colleagues, for creating and implementing customer focussed business procedures / processes which ensure accurate / efficient work planning, administrative and support services, and eliminate any non-value activities for Operational teams.

What we are looking for

  • Evidence of attainment of good literacy and numeracy, eg, through GCSEs or equivalent) or equivalent demonstrable prior learning.

  • Experience of office systems and procedures, ideally in a repairs reporting, maintenance or scheduling role.

  • High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.

  • Able to prioritise work and manage conflicting deadlines.
