Kingswood Group is delighted to partner with a large organisation in Chelmsford seeking a Project Officer for a 2-year fixed-term contract.

This flexible role can be undertaken either part-time or full-time (35 hours per week).

Focusing on racial justice, equity, and inclusion, the position involves collaborating with a dedicated team to address complex challenges and drive meaningful progress toward achieving racial justice goals. Key responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee a comprehensive project and implementation plan to meet the overall objectives.
  • Ensure actions are well-planned, financially viable, and aligned with agreed targets and outcomes for lasting impact.
  • Establish a reporting framework that meets the requirements and integrates with the organisation?s governance.
  • Analyse data to provide recommendations and demonstrate progress to stakeholders and funders.

 Skills required:

  • A-Level qualifications or an equivalent educational standard.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex projects, with a background at the Project Officer level or similar.
  • Passionate about advancing the overall project aims and committed to driving meaningful outcomes.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and planning capabilities, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Microsoft Office 365 (or comparable software) skills, including creating professional reports in PowerPoint and Excel.
