Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) - Busy GP Practice in Chelmsford

Location:Chelmsford , Essex

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Salary: £45 to £48 per hour - Ltd/ Sole trader

Dates required: 29 October and 1 November (Potential for on going cover)

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our dynamic team at a busy GP practice in Chelmsford. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients of all ages, demonstrating clinical excellence and a patient focussed approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients of all ages.
  • Manage chronic disease reviews and acute presentations.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as required.
  • Minor injuries and Illness
  • Offer health promotion and disease prevention advice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN or equivalent registration
  • Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification.
  • Significant experience working as an ANP in a primary care.
  • Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working long hours and managing a varied caseload.

The practice is looking for clinicians who are looking for regular work and willing to commit to working as regular locums and cover adhoc shifts.
