Quality Engineer - Day and Night shift available

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: Up to 45k

Prime Appointments is working with a fast-growing precision engineering company based in Chelmsford, looking for two Quality Engineers for the day shift and one for the night shift. If you have experience in the aerospace, defence, or marine industries, this could be your next exciting opportunity!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality standards for products and processes.
  • Oversee inspections, testing, and maintain detailed quality records.
  • Conduct supplier audits and manage quality-related communications.
  • Support HSE projects aiming for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
  • Lead improvement projects to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Handle customer concerns using RCA and CAPA tools like 8D and 5 Whys.

About You:

  • Strong Quality Engineer - Day & Night Shifts Available
    understanding of manufacturing and CNC machining processes.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems (internal auditing experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with inspection and measurement techniques.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
