I am seeking an Architectural Designer to join a RIBA-chartered practice based in Essex. This welcoming and collaborative team specialises in residential projects, offering services across all stages of development-from concept to completion. The practice is dedicated to delivering client-focused solutions and consistently surpassing expectations.

The ideal Architectural Designer will have substantial experience following Part 1 or Part 2 qualification and a proven track record of working on residential projects throughout all RIBA stages. Proficiency in preparing planning applications and producing building regulation drawings is essential. Experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp is also required.

Experience, Skills and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Designer:

  • Significant experience in a UK-based practice as a Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • Residential project experience, working through all RIBA stages
  • Confident completing planning applications
  • Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good timekeeping abilities
  • Able to work on multiple projects
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Must live within Essex
