My client is looking for an Architectural Designer to join their friendly, RIBA-chartered practice in Essex. The experienced team work on predominantly residential projects and will assist through all project stages, from initiation to completion. There is an exciting future of projects on the horizon and the team are looking forward to welcoming an Architectural Designer.

The successful Architectural Designer will have significant experience post Part 1 or Part 2 qualification and will have worked on residential projects through all RIBA stages. You will be confident completing planning applications and building regulation package drawings. AutoCAD and Sketchup experience is essential.

Experience, Skills and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Designer:

  • Significant experience in a UK-based practice as a Part 1 or Part 2 Architectural Assistant
  • Residential project experience, working through all RIBA stages
  • Confident completing planning applications
  • Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good timekeeping abilities
  • Able to work on multiple projects
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Must live within Essex
