Salary: 26,000-33,000

I am looking for an Architectural Designer to join a RIBA-chartered practice in Essex. The friendly team work on predominantly residential projects and provides services through all project stages, from initiation to completion. The practice creates client-led solutions and always exceeds client expectations.

The successful Architectural Designer will have significant experience post Part 1 qualification and will have worked through all RIBA stages on residential projects. You will be confident completing planning applications and building regulation package drawings. AutoCAD and Sketchup experience is essential.

Experience, Skills and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Designer:

  • Significant experience in a UK-based practice as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant
  • Residential project experience, working through all RIBA stages
  • Confident completing planning applications
  • Excellent knowledge of current UK building regulations
  • Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good timekeeping abilities
  • Able to work on multiple projects
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Must live within Essex
