We are seeking a dedicated D & T Teacher to join our secondary schools in Chelmsford on a full-time basis. The D & T Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons in Design and Technology, inspiring students to develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical understanding. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of students' practical and theoretical knowledge in various aspects of Design and Technology.

As a D & T Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum, covering a range of D & T disciplines.
  • Encouraging creativity and innovation, helping students develop practical skills in design, construction, and materials.
  • Supporting students in their coursework, projects, and exams, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
  • Maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment, managing resources and equipment effectively.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to the department's success.

The ideal D & T Teacher will be passionate about Design and Technology education, with the ability to motivate and challenge students at various levels of ability.
