We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join a Distribution company in Chelmsford, Essex. Paying 12.80-13.80 per hour (25,000 - 27,000 per annum) depending on experience.
This is a Temporary-Permanent position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

This Sales Executive role involves building strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and ensuring a seamless sales process from inquiry to order completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and repeat business.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise revenue.
  • Handle incoming inquiries, provide quotes, and process orders efficiently to convert sales opportunities.
  • Manage inboxes and ticketing systems, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
  • Escalate complex issues to the relevant department for guidance.
  • Negotiate returns with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring smooth processing.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in sales and account management.
  • Strong ability to identify and capitalise on upsell opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce); knowledge of NetSuite is a plus (training provided).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships.
