We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join a Distribution company in Chelmsford, Essex.
Paying 12.80-13.80 per hour (25,000 - 27,000 per annum) depending on experience.
This is a Temporary-Permanent position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
This Sales Executive role involves building strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and ensuring a seamless sales process from inquiry to order completion.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process online orders efficiently while identifying opportunities for upselling and alternative product recommendations
- Handle supplier calls, addressing queries and escalating issues when necessary
- Manage inbound support tickets via Zendesk, ensuring timely responses within set targets
- Qualify and assess incoming customer enquiries to understand their needs
- Follow up on quotes and sales orders to maximize conversions
- Generate opportunities from calls and emails, preparing and sending accurate quotes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Keep customer records up to date within the internal system
Skills & Experience required to be considered for this Sales Executive position:
- Experience using Zendesk is desirable
- Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
- Previous experience in a Call Centre or Customer Service role
- Proficiency in IT systems with the ability to learn new software quickly
- A team player with a proactive attitude, motivated to work towards targets and achieve success
