We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join a Distribution company in Chelmsford, Essex. Paying 12.80-13.80 per hour (25,000 - 27,000 per annum) depending on experience.
This is a Temporary-Permanent position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
This Sales Executive role involves building strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business, and ensuring a seamless sales process from inquiry to order completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and repeat business.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximise revenue.
- Handle incoming inquiries, provide quotes, and process orders efficiently to convert sales opportunities.
- Manage inboxes and ticketing systems, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to the relevant department for guidance.
- Negotiate returns with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring smooth processing.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in sales and account management.
- Strong ability to identify and capitalise on upsell opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce); knowledge of NetSuite is a plus (training provided).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships.
