We are supporting an award-winning company based in Chelmsford with recruiting for a Business Manager on a permanent basis. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 6:30pm (12pm midday - 9pm once a week, Saturdays 9am - 6pm and alternate Sundays 10am - 5pm. This is a fully office-based position with free parking on site and paying a salary of £30k plus bonus (OTE £100k+).

Duties will include:

  • Identifying new business opportunities of finance and insurance packages to increase sales
  • Responsible for building relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable finance and insurance solutions
  • Supporting Sales Consultants throughout the sales process to help them develop and achieve their targets
  • Completing loan and finance approvals, credit scoring/affordability checks for customers when required
  • Maintaining customer documentation on the database and ensuring customer details are updated and correct
  • Liaising with the sales department to manage and ensure smooth vehicle collections for customers

To be successful for this position you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong business management abilities. You will need to be confident in your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, as well as being proficient in finance systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
