Are you a customer-focused professional with a knack for building strong relationships and driving sales?

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Account Manager to join our client's team, located in the Chelmsford area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in their continued growth and to develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring that they continue to deliver excellent service and exceed customer expectations.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with existing key accounts, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and new business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Support the sales team to ensure smooth deal flow.
  • Onboard clients, providing clear guidance through all processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Proactively share updates on new products, features, and enhancements with partners, trained to effectively communicate the value and benefits of these additions.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to existing users, leveraging relationships and understanding of their specific needs and pain points.
  • Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners across various job functions, including sales, marketing, project management and customer support.
  • Update CRM systems daily to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profit.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly targets
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement

Your Background:

  • Proven account management or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
  • Experience in delivering client-focused product portfolio based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
