Operations Manger required based at HQ near Chelmsford. You will have Drainage sector background with knowledge and experience. Duties will include:

  • Manage over 40 drainage engineers
  • Carry out reviews & disciplinaries
  • Interview for drainage engineers
  • Technical support
  • Assist engineers with problematic jobs (OOH from time to time)
  • Carry out site audits
  • Attend site on a ad hoc basis as and when required
  • Assist operations team with technical queries
  • Oversee and support help desk
  • Ensure KPI’s are hit
  • Meet with clients as and when required
  • Go on the OOH callout rota (additional pay)

Must be competent in the following

  • 3 years minimum drainage experience
  • Management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Plumbing knowledge advantageous
  • Knowledge of Excavations and drain laying
  • CCTV surveys
  • High pressure water jetting
  • Training other engineers
  • Good knowledge in health & safety
