We are a market-leading business in the water treatment industry, and we’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Hygiene Supervisor to join our team in the South This is an exciting field-based role where you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene are maintained across a variety of client sites.About the Role:As a Water Hygiene Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of 6 field-based technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Your duties will include:
  • Supervising and mentoring a team, providing on-site training and guidance.
  • Conducting regular inspections of worksites to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
  • Visiting clients' sites across the region, maintaining strong customer relationships, and offering professional advice on water hygiene and safety.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to tasks when needed, including conducting water testing, monitoring system performance, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Managing scheduling and logistics of team activities, ensuring that all deadlines are met and work is completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise a team of 6 water hygiene technicians, offering support and guidance to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant water hygiene regulations and industry best practices.
  • Perform site inspections and audits, identifying any issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, providing professional service and advice on water hygiene solutions.
  • Be hands-on in performing key tasks such as water sampling, disinfection, and system cleaning when necessary.
  • Assist with the management of paperwork and reporting, ensuring all documentation is up to date and in line with company procedures.
About You:The ideal candidate will have:
  • Extensive experience in the water hygiene or water treatment industry.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong knowledge of water hygiene standards and regulations.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to handle a diverse range of tasks both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Scotland.
