Building Control Consultant

An Architectural Consultancy is seeking a Building Control Surveyor and/or Registered Building Inspector (RBI) to provide Consultancy under the BSA 2022. This role will be a flexible role which will provide you autonomy to manage your own work. Despite the very flexible nature the team are very sociable, and you will have the support of Architect, Structural Engineer and Fire departments which are all in-house.

This service is already up and running and very successfully meaning you can achieve the support required within this new industry.

Building Control Consultant (BSA 2022) Responsibilities

They will be responsible for site inspections over a varied portfolio, which will allow for an exciting time as each week and month will be different. They will be confident within design meetings with clients providing design compliance consultancy under BSA 2022, ensuring designs will be compliant with building control legislation.

The Building Control Consultant (BSA 2022) should possess

• A Class 2 Registered Building Inspector (RBI) (required)
• 3 years of experience as a Building Control Surveyor (required)
• A member of a professional body: CABE / CIOB / MICE / RIBA / ARB / MCIAT
• A degree in a technical building qualification: Engineering/Civil Engineering/Architecture (preferable)
