An established Fire Safety Consultancy in Essex is seeking a skilled professional to join their dedicated Fire Risk Assessment team.
With a team of 45 fire safety specialists and a wider business of nearly 100, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company on diverse and rewarding projects.
The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring fire safety compliance across a wide range of properties. These include private residential developments, from low-rise to high-rise blocks of flats, as well as commercial buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting fire risk assessments in accordance with UK regulations and standards, such as PAS 79.
- Attend client sites to complete and provide Health, Safety and Fire Risk Assessments.
- Undertake any key projects and assist with office operations.
- Provide a high level of technical support.
- Regulatory review report systems/codes and Health & Safety information up to legal requirements.
The Fire Risk Assessor will have
- Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments, ideally across both residential and commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
- Relevant fire safety qualifications such as NEBOSH Fire Certificate, IFE Level 3, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within Essex and surrounding areas.
