An industry leader in health, safety, and environmental solutions is seeking a Fire Safety Consultant to join their expert team.

This is an opportunity for a Fire Safety Consultant to work on a exclusively private portfolio of clients, working with large investor type clients, as well as pension funds.

The Fire Safety Consultant's Role

The Fire Safety Consultant will take responsibility for delivering high-quality fire risk assessments, compliance audits, and strategic fire safety advice to clients.

  • Conducting fire risk assessments across commercial and residential properties
  • Experience in Passive Fire Protection Surveys, Retrospective Fire Strategy documents, smoke control calculations, or thermal radiation analyses
  • Carrying out audits and providing consultancy support to ensure compliance with current legislation
  • Producing detailed reports and recommendations to improve fire safety measures
  • Advising clients on Building Regulations, British Standards, and fire safety best practices
  • Utilising advanced software tools to deliver market-leading risk assessments

The Successful Fire Safety Consultant Will Have

  • Membership of IFE (AIFireE minimum) or IFSM (MIFSM minimum)
  • A high-level fire-related qualification (degree or Level 4/5 Diploma minimum)
  • At least 5 years' experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments in commercial and residential sectors
  • Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, and British Standards
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
