We are working closely with an industry leading provider of Health and Safety / Fire Risk Management services in the South East of England who are now seeking to take on a Fire Risk Assessor. Attending longstanding Commercial and Residential sites, you will be responsible for carrying out type 1-3 fire risk assessments, alongside developing, reviewing, and implementing site specific fire safety strategies on existing sites. The successful candidate will hold industry recognised qualifications and will be well versed in up-to-date Health and Safey / BS9999 /ABD guidelines. Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding an industry recognised figure qualification such as NEBOSH Fire Certificate, or NEBOSH Fire Conversion technical is essential to the role.
" Will be well versed and up to date in relevant Health and Safey / BS9999 /ABD guidelines.
" Excellent IT skills, able to produce accurate and detailed reports.
" Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels efficiently.
" Extensive experience carrying out Fire Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of sites.
The Role:
" Attending a mixed portfolio of sites, efficiently developing, reviewing and implementing individual fire safety strategies, ensuring they are complaint with current guidelines and regulations.
" Providing clients with cost effective solutions and advice on fire safety deficiencies.
" Carrying out type 1 & 3 Fire Risk Assessments in line with ABD / BS9999 / Health and Safety guidelines.
" Carrying out fire drills, as well as training in the use of fire extinguishers and fire warden training.
" Liaising with clients to deliver excellent technical advice and support, dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
" Carrying out investigations when required.
" Providing detailed and accurate risk assessment reports in a timely manner upon completion of assessment.
" Continuing to maintain and build excellent relationships with clients.
Alternative Job titles: Fire risk assessor, Fire Engineer, Environmental Risk Assessor, Health and Safety Risk Assessor.
Overall the successful candidate will bring their excellent technical experience working in the fire risk industry and will demonstrate a strong work ethic. Prospective candidates must also be prepared to travel extensively as per client requirements.
