Our client is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team in Essex. This permanent role is geared towards residential projects, with particular commercial projects also included. The workload allows for the addition of a new inspector, providing an excellent opportunity for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections of residential and commercial buildings to ensure compliance with building regulations
- Providing detailed reports and recommendations based on inspections
- Collaborating with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met
- Offering expert advice on Building Control to various stakeholders
- Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all inspections and findings
- Liaising with local authorities and clients to address any issues or concerns
- Maintaining knowledge of current regulations and industry standards
- Supporting other team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Building Control within residential and commercial sectors
- Strong understanding of building regulations and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Relevant qualification in Building Control or related field
