Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts in line with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) according to job specifications.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure precision and quality.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or production processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Document production activities and maintain records as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic math skills and understanding of machining processes.
  • The location of this role requires candidates to have their own transport.
