A manufacturing company based in Chelmsford are looking to recruit a CNC Miller into their Night shift. This role is paying up to 48,000 including the shift premium.
Duties:
- Night Shift, 20.00 - 06.00, Monday to Thursday
- In this role you'll read and interpret component blueprints on a daily basis, working with geometric dimensions and tolerances
- You'll set and operate CNC machines to ensure maximum efficiency and reduce machine down time
- Setting gauges and utilising manual measuring instruments appropriately.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance on machines, equipment and tools used in all processes.
To be considered for this exciting CNC Miller role, you will need the following experience:
- Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Engineering background setting and operating CNC machines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously but also as part of a team.
- Strong communicator and responsive to change
