Our client is a dynamic and highly reputable contractor, specialising in high end luxurious properties and residences all around Essex. For a very exciting and rewarding career opportunity, they are looking for an experienced and highly skilled project manager to oversee the project, and work well with the construction team to deliver a prestigious final product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing progress of the construction site on a day-to-day basis from initial phases to handover.
  • Ensuring all aspects of the project are delivered on time, within budget, as well as to the required quality standards.
  • Managing client relationships through regular communication and liaising regularly with contracts manager to provide updates and forge beneficial client relationships.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors and designers for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance is met by adhering to health and safety regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience as a project manager in high end residential construction to be knowledgeable of the required processes.
  • Strong leadership skills and prior management skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as problem solving skills under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail, and desire to strive for excellence.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field and/or relevant qualification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in key management software, strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
  • Chartered status with a professional body (RICS, CIOB).
