Project Manager Up to £55k Chelmsford Area / Essex

Residential developer project running experience essential and more on the technical side. The work is mainly low rise volume house building, so this experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

To manage projects (and assist in other projects if necessary) in the production of Technical or Planning work 

General administration in management of projects 

Communicate with clients, external consultants & suppliers of projects 

Communicate with Directors and other Managers to ensure smooth running of projects 

Hold / attend regular project team meetings 

To attend any training provided and to develop relevant knowledge and skills 

Maintain a high standard of Quality Control in relation to the production of drawings, service to clients and general communication 

To keep up to date with current regulations and technical / design literature and to advise team accordingly  Compliance with Company standard office procedures and CAD Manual 

Assist Managing Director in producing fee quotes if necessary 

CMAP - complete timesheets on a weekly basis  CMAP - update project progress 

Adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy to ensure statutory obligations are fulfilled and to take reasonable care of the Health & Safety of yourself and other persons that may be affected by your acts or omissions at work 

Comply with all verbal and written Health & Safety instructions and training provided by Client or third parties  Attend Health & Safety training courses as per instruction from directors 

Assist as necessary with any other tasks that may be required/authorised/directed by your line manager / director The above is to be read in conjunction with your Contract of Employment and in no way negates any of the criteria set out in that contract.
