- Ensuring the clear understanding, documentation, and management of project scope with customers, whether external or internal.
- Identifying project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively seeking resolution before escalation.
- Collaborating with the Finance Team to set and monitor budgets.
- Compiling project dashboards and presenting project status updates to the Senior Leadership Team on a monthly basis.
- Collaborating with Business Development, Engineering, and Programme Directors to devise technical and commercial solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Contributing to the enhancement of project management processes.
- Extensive experience in managing engineering projects throughout some or all stages of their lifecycle, with a particular focus on production.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire teams to meet critical timelines and deliver projects successfully.
- Proficiency in managing customer expectations and preventing scope creep.
- A strong grasp of risk management and its application in project management.
- Persuasive and clear communication skills, applicable to all levels of the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Sound judgment, knowing when to take ownership and when to escalate issues.
- Competency in the use and understanding of Project Management and resource tools, such as MS Project, MS Project Server, or similar enterprise project management tools.
- Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
- A qualification in project management methodologies is desirable.
- Eligibility for or possession of Security Clearance and UK National status.
