- Manage the entire subcontract process, from small consultancy projects to complex technical procurements.
- Prepare RFQs and RFPs, ensuring all contract terms are accurately applied and aligned with regulations.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals, assess risks, and conduct cost analyses to support sound decision-making.
- Lead negotiations, award subcontracts, and maintain thorough contract records.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, developing small business plans where needed.
- Oversee subcontractor performance, handling changes and contract closures.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to align deliverables and support planning processes.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Help update policies, procedures, and contracts to reflect current laws and best practices.
- Use ERP systems to monitor data, driving efficiency and cost savings.
- Formal procurement qualifications such as MCIPS are highly advantageous.
- Aerospace and Defence experience an advantage.
- Understanding of Source to Pay (S2P) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience supporting bid teams and managing customer commercial terms and flow-down requirements.
- Strong track record of developing commercial agreements in technical, engineering-heavy environments.
