Electrical Contract Manager
Property Services - Essex
Up to £60,000 Plus Package
My client are an established fire and electrical contractor based in the South East, and are currently looking to add an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to their property services division. This contractor currently deliver a mixture of electrical and fire safety projects across a variety of clients in Housing & Commercial, but this would be specifically to run day to day electrical repairs, electrical upgrades & EICRS for housing clients.
Job Specification;
Manage and lead a small team of electricians & supervisors delivering electrical remediation works to properties across the borough
Works will include EICR's, remediation works, latteral main and AOV installs amongst other projects
Identify and diagnose faults within properties using appropriate testing equipment and methods
Completing quality assurance surveys
Manage P&L on each contract
Programme works
Progress Reports
Hold Client Meetings
Offer support & technical advice to team members
Ensure works are completed to the correct standard and are compliant before sign off
Manage KPI's and monitor performance of team members
Manage materials and arrange returns if they are faulty
Undertake training provided by the company
Recruiting new team members when necessary
Candidate Specification;
To lead and manage your team to the best of your ability, being on hand to offer training, guidance and support on all electrical jobs. You will need to have a valid 18th edition and a 2391 or 2394/2395 qualification. You will also need to have a proven track record of working as a NICEIC Supervisor and/or contract manager within the property services/housing sector, along with an ability to work on your own initiative but also work well within a team.
