Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to manage design deliverables.
- Review drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving potential design issues
- Support the construction team by ensuring design intent aligns with buildability.
- Assist in obtaining approvals and liaising with planning authorities as required.
- Ensure all design documentation is up to date and compliant with current regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Design Coordinator (or similar role) within a Main Contractor.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and technical design.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations and industry standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software (desirable).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
