Job Title: Mortgage & Protection Adviser.  Location: Ipswich, Colchester or Chelmsford.   Basis: Employed-Full Time-Office Based.   Salary: Basic Salary of up-to £28K DOE. + Annual bonus of up-to £7.5K plus fantastic commission of up-to 25%. Rewards: Realistically Achievable Year 1 OTE £50K-£60K.   Rayner Personnel are the UK’S leading Financial Services Recruiters, and we are proud to work with the UK’s leading Mortgage Brokerages, Estate Agents & Financial institutions.  Our client who are the Financial arm of the areas premier estate agencies trade from offices based in both Ipswich and Chelmsford and are now looking for a number of additional Mortgage Advisers to join their team. They sell on average 60 properties per month from each branch so you will have an outstanding lead source, providing you with the ability to write high levels of business. To be considered for these roles you will need to be fully CeMAP qualified and an experienced Mortgage Adviser who is able to demonstrate a track record of writing decent levels of business in a previous Mortgage advice position. Key responsibilities for this Mortgage and Protection Advisor role: 
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the estate agency team; providing support and training where required.
  • Provide expert mortgage advice to clients looking to purchase residential and/or investment properties.
  • Provide exceptional client care and guide them through the application process, ensuring a stress-free experience.
  • Stay up to date with the Mortgage market and trends.
  • Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, ensuring the highest ethical standards.
Skills and experience for this Mortgage and Protection Advisor role: 
  • Full CeMAP or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a previous Mortgage or Mortgage Adviser role.
  • Good track record of achieving and exceeding cross sales; ensuring clients are adequately protected.
  • Ability to generate new business in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Ability to always put the customer first.
  • Full UK driving licence.
