SEN Support (Post 16 College) Position Available in Chelmsford
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our secondary schools in Chelmsford as an SEN Support (Post 16 College) specialist. In this role, you will provide tailored support to post-16 students with special educational needs, facilitating their academic progress, emotional well-being, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized 1:1 and small group support for post-16 students with SEN, assisting them in overcoming learning barriers.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN teams to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Implement effective strategies to manage behavior and promote positive learning experiences.
- Support students in developing independence and essential life skills, preparing them for future opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and professionals.
