Location: Chelmsford, CM1 (Must have own transport due to location) 

Hours of work: Monday 8am-5:30pm, Tuesday-Friday 830am-530pm (1 hour paid lunch & 2 x 15 mins paid break)

Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a client, a growing retailer specializing in home and industrial equipment based near Chelmsford, Essex. As the business continues to grow, they are expanding the team and looking to hire an experienced Customer Service to join their friendly staff. The ideal candidate should have an excellent command of spoken and written English, be confident handling phone inquiries, and able to quickly grasp the intricacies of their products and services.

Prior customer service experience is essential, along with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A calm, patient, and enthusiastic approach is necessary for this fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service via phone, live chat, and email
  • Advising customers on the range of products and solutions for homes and businesses (training provided)
  • Processing orders over the phone
  • Handling queries and complains when required.
  • Responding to inquiries through email, live chat, and phone
  • Performing general administrative tasks
  • Continuously increasing product knowledge

Personal Skills:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a similar role is required.
  • Confident, with a positive attitude
  • Proactive with a "can-do" approach

Full training on products and systems will be provided.
