Customer Service Administrator / Advisor

This is a full-time temporary position paying 12.21 per hour and working 37.5 hours working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm beginning mid-April on a temporary basis until the end of July. The shift patterns are either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, on a rota basis. This is a fully office based position.

Own transport is essential due to company location - Chelmsford outskirts. The company is not accessible via public transport. There is free parking on-site.

Duties will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone with professionalism and efficiency
  • Ensuring safeguarding documentation is accurately prepared and sent to customers when required
  • Liaising between internal and external teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintaining accurate records of communications and approvals using MS Excel
  • Handling general administrative tasks as needed

Experience required:

  • Experience in customer service and administration, with a strong ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Our client are open to candidates with customer service experience within a retail environment as training will be given, providing you have good, confident communication skills.
