- Maintaining and promoting food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity across all the business
- Ensuring the production line staff adhere to good manufacturing & good hygiene practicesand providing advice or training as needed in all areas.
- Working closely with the production and quality team in terms of quality/safety issues to ensure all relevant information is recorded, communicated, and investigated.
- Being the technical point of contact for PM shift and responsible for escalation procedure.
- Carrying out the technical daily walkabout at set periods throughout the day and reporting findings
- Supporting and progressing the food safety culture.
- Temperature monitoring around the site and complete actions as required
- Good knowledge of food safety and quality
- Food safety level 3
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role, but notessential.
- Familiar with Windows, MS Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.
- Good grasp of formal English with regard to reporting writing and correspondence.
- Experience with internal auditing
