Are you a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a renowned multidisciplinary consultancy who are on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis. Located in Essex, this is a fantastic opportunity for the selected candidate to work on a variety of exciting Education and Leisure projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Design Lead, you will be responsible for the various mechanical / HVAC design processes from concept through to completion
- Development of detailed designs suitable for procurement and installation. This will include sizing, selection, and space planning
- You will be an integral part of a multi-service design and installation team
- Proactive in ensuring effective communication and production of good quality information
- Aid with the development of junior project and design engineers
Key requirements:
- Strong Building Services experience
- Competence of all major building service systems
- Good working knowledge of Revit and HEVACOMP design software
- Sufficient working knowledge to enable you to establish client's requirements, and an ability to communicate effectively with specialist providers.
- Able to work and lead as part of a team, delivering a fully co-ordinated and integrated solution
