Person Specification:

NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent

Knowledge of EYFS Curriculum

Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)

Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Minimum 1-year experience in a similar roleSome of the Nursery Nurse responsibilities will Include:

  • Key worker responsibilities and ensure children’s development records are maintained
  • To comply with all nursery policy and procedures
  • To work with EYFS curriculum planning age appropriate activities  
  • To provide children with personal care
  • To promote equal opportunity and ensure each individual child’s needs are met
  • To develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and external childcare professionals
  • To ensure safe stimulating environment for children
  • To attend monthly staff meetings and further training as required
