Job Title:Mechanical Assembler
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: 24,000 - 34,000 p.a (Depending on Experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am to 16.30pm
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Sector: Engineering
Our client based in Chelmsfordis looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
As a Mechanical Assembler your duties will include:
- Using hand & power tools
- Assembling products from engineering / technical drawings
- Ensuringall quality checks are carried out for theassembled parts
- Maintaining a clean working environment, whilst following safety protocols.
An ideal candidate for the Mechanical Assemblerwill have:
- Strong Mechanical skills
- Qualifications within an Apprenticeship or NVQ2 Level in City & Guilds
- Capable of reading technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems / components
- Attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills.
