Duties will include:
- Design electronic PCBs and circuits which use embedded software & hardware to meet performance characteristics
- Ensuring quality, reliability within products and making sure the products life meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
- Work under a Technical Authority and Product Authority who will guide the development.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- A strong background in Electronic Hardware design for products
- Experience in Product based design, development and qualification
- Experience of analogue circuit design (switching PSUs & signal conditioning)
- Experience of digital circuit design (0.5GHz bus speeds)
- Experience of designing, managing and realising the layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
- Knowledge of how to provision hardware for FPGAs and DSPs
- Experienced in the partitioning of software & hardware within an architecture for testability, maintainability etc.
- Ability to create clear, concise, maintainable and verifiable technical specifications, APIs, interface specifications and integration guides
- Ideally a degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, lEng, CEng or equivalent in experience
