Electronics Hardware Engineer | Aerospace | On site in Chelmsford

Duties will include:
  • Design electronic PCBs and circuits which use embedded software & hardware to meet performance characteristics
  • Ensuring quality, reliability within products and making sure the products life meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
  • Work under a Technical Authority and Product Authority who will guide the development.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A strong background in Electronic Hardware design for products
  • Experience in Product based design, development and qualification
  • Experience of analogue circuit design (switching PSUs & signal conditioning)
  • Experience of digital circuit design (0.5GHz bus speeds)
  • Experience of designing, managing and realising the layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
  • Knowledge of how to provision hardware for FPGAs and DSPs
  • Experienced in the partitioning of software & hardware within an architecture for testability, maintainability etc.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, maintainable and verifiable technical specifications, APIs, interface specifications and integration guides
  • Ideally a degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, lEng, CEng or equivalent in experience
