Sonic Summary

Reed Engineering is seeking a test engineer for a reputable electronics manufacturer specializing in complex PCB Assembly.
The ideal candidate should have experience in fault finding to component level on analogue and digital circuits and testing printed circuit boards.
A minimum of HNC in Electronics Engineering or equivalent is required, along with the ability to interpret schematic drawings and maintain test specifications.
The salary for this position is negotiable based on experience, and the role involves a 37.5-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
Additional benefits include 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, a contributory pension scheme, and onsite parking.

Reed Engineering are currently working with a highly established electronics manufacturer that specialises in complex PCB Assembly, offering extremely reliable solutions for surface mount and through-hole technologies.Due to growth, they are currently looking for a test engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will be competent in fault finding to component level on a variety of products including analogue and digital circuits and will have experience in testing assembled printed circuit boards to functional test specifications.

Other key requirements include: • Ability to interpret schematic and circuit drawings.• Creation and maintenance of test specifications and procedures as needed.• Accurate record-keeping.• Experience with ICT (In-Circuit Test) desirable.• Experience with XJTAG desirable.• Experience with LabVIEW advantageous. • Understanding of quality standards and build practices, including IPC and 5S.

Qualifications: • HNC in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
