Job Title: High Voltage Electronics Engineer
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £50,000
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

General Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Create circuits and sub-systems to meet customer specifications, ensuring reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technical Support: Provide prompt resolution of technical issues during development, production, and service phases.
  • Testing & Verification: Validate designs through simulation and testing while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Product Management: Oversee changes to product build standards and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Skills & Experience:
  • Expertise in power electronic systems, including Switch Mode PSUs and PCB design.
  • Experience with high-frequency circuits and high voltage systems (3 to 10kV, 500W to 2kW).
  • Knowledge of reliability design (MTBF), failure analysis (DfMEA/FMECA), and electrical safety standards.
  • Proficiency with PCB layout tools and schematic capture.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or relevant practical experience is essential.
  • Full SC clearance required; DV clearance is a plus.
