Job Summary:The company is seeking a Senior Electronics Production Engineer to join the Production Engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse Electronics product ranges within RF Power, contributing significantly to the strategic growth and operational excellence of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in problem-solving on the production line, including component-level fault finding and structured analysis to address long-term production and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply teams to drive issues to full root cause analysis with sustainable corrective actions.
  • Develop and analyze manufacturing processes, create balanced production lines, and update work instructions and control documents.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) by ensuring designs meet DFM and DFA criteria and managing activities through the NPI process.
  • Plan and control the execution of manufacturing change, manage the introduction of new parts and tools, and assist with pre-production parts supply.
  • Ensure safety by supporting production with risk assessments and acting as a subject matter expert for product and process safety.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in electronics test and manufacturing engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience in an engineering function supporting electronics manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly, manufacturing, and testing principles.
  • Proficiency in electronics, including fault finding to component level. Knowledge of RF test techniques and high voltage electronics is beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis, and understanding of SPC data.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence a range of audiences and work effectively within a multi-disciplined team.
  • Capable of obtaining SC – Security Clearance.
