Personal Assistant

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected organisation seeking a Personal Assistant. This role is pivotal in managing the team's calendar and supporting mission-oriented activities. The position offers flexible and hybrid working options, ideal for professionals seeking a balance between work and personal life.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the Team’s calendar, ensuring all meetings, conferences, and training events are scheduled appropriately.
- Attend meetings to take minutes or notes and ensure all relevant actions are highlighted and followed up.
- Address and resolve potential scheduling conflicts proactively.
- Prepare for key meetings and forums by collating necessary documentation, creating agendas, and distributing minutes.
- Coordinate missional activities as directed by the Head of Missional Programme Management or Area Missional Development Leads.
- Conduct research on mission-related topics and present findings in a user-friendly format.
- Organize training events, including preparing documentation and ensuring the availability of training materials.
- Provide general administrative support to the Missional Team as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven professional PA/administration support experience within a team.
- Experience managing diaries and arranging meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Office 365 (or equivalent), Excel, Zoom, Teams, and Electronic Diary Systems.
- Skilled in drafting emails and correspondence for both routine and non-routine matters.
- Experience working in a small, high-functioning team, ideally with an administrative focus.
- Experience in an administration role in a church environment or within the charity sector is desirable.
- Self-starter, able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Team player, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Comfortable working within confidential boundaries with a high level of integrity and discretion.
- Professional and positive demeanor at all times.
- Ability to occasionally travel across to support meetings and events.
- Holds a full driving licence and has access to private transport, insured for business purposes.
