Production Operative - permanent job working full time hours over a 4 day week (every friday off).

Manufacturing / engineering company have an opportunity for someone who has good attention to detail, is OK with reasonably physical work and is eager to learn. Part of the role will involve identification stamping of parts for compliance and tracking against quality standards. This role offers the chance to learn and work in various areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Print identification tags for parts using the specialist Printer.
  • Mark and etch metal parts as needed.
  • Apply lacquer and system tape markings.
  • Use of specialist machinery for marking parts.
  • Manually mark parts with "Aerospace" Markers.
  • Move components between processes and assist with production control.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines.
  • Generally assist across the factory and perform other tasks as needed.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and measurements.
  • Basic understanding of shop floor health and safety.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to be multi-skilled.
  • Ability to handle physical work as well as detailed counting.

Hours: Mon-Wed 07:00 to 17:30 and Thu 07:00 to 16:30
