- Enhance financial management of customer-funded and private venture projects, ensuring robust project accounting.
- Provide insightful analysis of business performance, identifying opportunities for growth and risk management.
- Support financial and commercial decision-making with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
- Assist with periodic financial processes, including journals, reconciliations, forecasting, and annual planning.
- Advise and support on bid preparations to ensure accurate financial projections.
- Lead and manage financial projects as required.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures, including SOX compliance.
- CIMA or ACCA qualified with at least 4 years of experience.
- Strong finance business partnering experience, ideally within a manufacturing/engineering/technical environment
- Previous experience in accounting within the Defence sector is advantageous.
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills with experience in ERP systems (preferably SAP HANA S4).
- Able to work autonomously and as part of an integrated team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset, adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Security Clearance (SC) desirable.
