The Role:

  • As a Senior Finance Broker, you will be a highly experienced finance professional with a strong background in unsecured lending. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to provide tailored financial solutions to clients, guiding them through complex lending processes and helping them secure financing that meets their specific needs.

Day to Day:

  • Using your comprehensive market knowledge to identify and provide customised funding solutions for both new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with our lending panel to secure to most competitive terms for our clients and ensure you are up to date with lending criteria.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads.
  • Engage regularly with existing clients to meet their ongoing and future funding needs, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and client referrals.
  • Operate in strict adherence to FCA guidelines, upholding the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's corporate image by consistently delivering quality, reliability, and excellence.

About You:

  • Self-motivated and pro-active attitude: You possess a strong internal drive and initiative, able to work independently.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong, mutually beneficial relationships in a financial sales setting: You excel in building lasting, value-driven relationships with clients, lenders, and colleagues. Your approach to client engagement is consultative and collaborative, ensuring that you understand their financial needs and can solutions that benefit both the client and the business.
  • Experience of working within a target-driven role, with a demonstrated track record of success in driving business growth within the finance industry: Your experience in meeting and exceeding sales or performance targets has consistently contributed to business growth, and your ability to manage time, resources, and client expectations has been key to your success in the finance sector.
  • Understanding of products and lenders across the unsecured SME market with an ability to structure transactions across a range of risk pofiles and asset types: You have a deep knowledge of the unsecured lending landscape, particularly within the SME sector.
  • Skilled and confident negotiator with excellent communiaction skills, both verbal and written: You are an expert at negotiating favourable terms, whether with clients or lenders, ensuring all parties walk away satisfied.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivering superior results: Your meticulous nature ensures that every aspect of a transaction is carefully handled, reducing errors and maximising the chances of success.
