Role responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of not-for-profit audit clients including charities, academies, and other social impact organisations
- Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring high technical standards
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients, providing advice and insight on regulatory and financial matters
- Reviewing audit files, financial statements and reporting packs prepared by junior staff
- Supervising, mentoring and developing members of the audit team
- Keeping up to date with developments in charity reporting, SORP and relevant auditing standards
- Supporting internal initiatives and contributing to business development within the specialist sector

Candidate requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience in audit
- Previous experience working with charity or not-for-profit clients
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and charity SORP
- Excellent interpersonal and client management skills
- Proven ability to lead audit teams and manage multiple engagements
- A commitment to delivering meaningful work with impact
