Role responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of not-for-profit audit clients including charities, academies, and other social impact organisations
  • Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring high technical standards
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients, providing advice and insight on regulatory and financial matters
  • Reviewing audit files, financial statements and reporting packs prepared by junior staff
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing members of the audit team
  • Keeping up to date with developments in charity reporting, SORP and relevant auditing standards
  • Supporting internal initiatives and contributing to business development within the specialist sector
