Opportunity to join a high growth PE backed business with an exceptional leadership team as Finance Business Partner. Hybrid working.

As a key member of the Finance Team, you will work closely with both the FP&A and Commercial Finance teams, delivering timely and accurate insights to drive profitable business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact strategy by supporting stakeholders with meaningful analysis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the FP&A Director on proactive business analysis and insight for our four trading units and central teams
  • Partner with the Commercial Finance Director to identify opportunities for operational and commercial efficiency, cost savings, and profitability maximisation
  • Produce regular (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) reporting to provide critical insights for FP&A, commercial finance, and broader stakeholders
  • Conduct post-month-end deep dives into sales, margin, and overheads, delivering not just analysis but actionable insights
  • Execute ad hoc data analysis at customer, category, and product levels to support data-driven decision-making
  • Oversee comprehensive management reporting, including monthly performance packs, individual/channel performance metrics, and pipeline reporting
  • Assist with budget and reforecast support across the group, automation of month-end processes, and the roll-out of Power BI for enhanced reporting

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyse data at high level to make Quick Fire commercial decisions.

  • Degree in finance, economics, or mathematics (or similar field)
  • CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified or actively studying
  • Strong analytical abilities, ideally with commercial/pricing experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment and prioritise tasks for maximum value
  • Familiarity with ERP implementation desirable
  • Experience in wholesale, retail, or FMCG (high volume, low margin) is a plus
