Finance Manager

A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting an Finance Manager to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. Paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.

This distribution company requires a NetSuite Finance Specialist with significant experience in producing management accounts and running finance operations.


Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Management Accounts: Lead the preparation and production of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• NetSuite Financial Operations: Manage all finance team activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and cash management.
• Team Management: Oversee and support the finance team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently within the NetSuite environment.
• Financial Reporting: Produce and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using NetSuite, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making by senior management.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for automating and streamlining financial processes, driving efficiencies in reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in NetSuite and maintain compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
  
  

Essential Qualifications & Experience for this Finance Manager position:

• Minimum of 5 years in finance management, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience using NetSuite to manage finance operations.
• Management Accounts: Proven track record of producing detailed and accurate management accounts.
• Experience leading or managing a finance team, with a focus on leveraging ERP systems like NetSuite to enhance team performance.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience with NetSuite's financial modules (GL, AP, AR, reporting, etc.) and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the system.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting financial data and providing insights to guide business strategy.
