Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Finance Lead to oversee our clients’ financial operations. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our clients’ financial strategy, managing budgets, collaborating with multiple teams, and ensuring our clients’ P&L statements accurately reflect our business performance. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work both on-site and remotely, providing a dynamic work environment to suit your professional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage comprehensive budgets that align with company goals and strategic direction.

- Work closely with various departments to ensure financial objectives are integrated into broader company projects and initiatives.

- Maintain full ownership of the P&L, ensuring all financial data is accurate, timely, and reflects the company's operational performance.

- Lead the financial forecasting process, collaborating with senior management to identify trends and make informed business decisions.

- Oversee the month-end close process.

- Analyse financial data and provide strategic recommendations to optimise financial performance and mitigate risks.

- Serve as a mentor and support to a junior finance assistant, guiding their professional growth and development.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all financial and legal requirements.

- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Present financial reports to stakeholders and provide insights into revenue, expenditures, and projections.

- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, providing financial expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role with a proven track record of success in budget management, financial analysis, and P&L oversight.

- Strong understanding of UK Tax

- Proficient in financial software and Excel, with the ability to analyse large data sets and provide meaningful insights.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to mentor and support junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and learning within the finance team.
